"The Penthouse"' (3rd floor unit), Best mountain views in town. This historic home is in close proximity to anywhere you'd want to be in North Creek. Featuring two bedrooms with Jack & Jill bath and stall shower; the master boasts a king size bed, while the second bedroom features a twin over full bunk bed with twin trundle to maximize your sleeping options. The large, eat-in kitchen is fully equipped and has recently been renovated. The family room is cozy, featuring a leather couch & chair with ottoman and a 55" HD Smart TV with HULU Live provided. This unit requires two flights of stairs for access.

Non-winter activities: Short walk from the house: Carol Thomas Memorial Nature Path. It starts behind the library/town hall building, which is down Wade St. toward the hardware store and make a right on Main St. The library is less than a 1/4 mile in right. The trail start behind it. This path leads to the Ski Bowl Loop. A 2 mile hiking trail around the North Creek Ski Bowl. Ski Bowl Park has a playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball field, and covered picnic areas. Down Wade St toward the hardware store and make a Left: North Creek Mosaic Project, just completed. I find something new every time we pass. North Creek Railroad depot Museum at the train station Gregory Tomb Glass Blowing Studio Revolution Rail Company. Self pedal sightseeing train car tours. A great way to see the Adirondacks. Reservations required. Short Drive: Gore Mountain Resort for sight seeing gondola and ski lift rides to hiking on the mountain. Also frisbee golf and mountain biking White water rafting goes on Tuesdays Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. North Creek Rafting is right down the street as is Square Eddys rafting. Minimum age is 8. Reservations required. 10 minute drive: Donnelly Beach at Minerva Lake: Free beach. Swimming with lifeguards, they rent canoes and kayaks at the snack stand to use in the lake. The area is beautiful and it has clean and clear water. Two Playgrounds on the beach. 20 minute drive: Natural Stone Bridge and Caves. Really beautiful place to explore. Check out photos and pricing online. 40 minute drive: The Adirondack Experience Museum on Blue Mountain Lake. Museum and educational center. Really nice setting. Restaurants: Walkable Marshas: classic diner style breakfast and lunch Chrissys : breakfast and lunch Izzys Market: coffee roaster and gourmet sandwiches Bar Vino: wine bar and high end food Trappers Tavern: Bar inside the Phoenix Inn Barking Spider: Local Bar with great bar food. Only seating is at the Large bar. Burgers, wraps, and quesadillas. The also have carnitas tacos that are not on the menu that are my favorite. Short drive: Basil and Wicks: American restaurant and bar on route 28 near the Stewart’s gas stations Becks Tavern: German fare on the Gore Access Road, a must see. Owl and Twilight in Olmstedville, high end restaurant, Would be great for an adults dinner. Opens at 5pm.

Guest Access
This is a 3rd floor unit and requires stairs for access. Guests will be provided with check-in instructions and a personal keycode 3 days prior to and the day of arrival. Upon check-in time, your keycode will activate. Simply enter the code into the keypad on the unit's front door and it will unlock. You will need to complete this sequence before the backlight of the keypad times out. ***Please note, guests that did NOT book via Airbnb will need to complete our Rental Agreement prior to receiving their check-in instructions*** Due to our meticulous cleaning standards, early check-ins or late check-outs can only be accommodated based on our turnover schedule. With that in mind, we cannot provide approval for early check-in, in advance. If your room is ready prior to check-in, we will let you know.
